CEP Partnership meeting
Join us as we explore the the C in CEP. What is culture? What does it mean to you?
Thursday 12th May 4-6pm in person and online at The Brampton Museum and Art Gallery
About this event
Cultural Education Partnerships are cross-sector, strategic partnerships that work together to unite and improve cultural education for children and young people in their local area.
In this session we will be exploring the C in CEP. What is cultural education? What is Culture? What does it mean to you and what should it mean to CEPs up and down the country? Is Cultural education still relevant or might there be a need to look interchangeably at Culture and Climate?
This session will be exploratory in practice, where Stoke CEP member, teacher and creative arts therapist Monica Cru-Hall will outline the spectrum of culture between ‘roots and culture’ and the ‘manifestation of intellectual arts culture’ then together we will explore the effects this has on climate; school climate, community climate, organisation climate, and environmental climate.
It is open to ALL; teachers, members, artists and community artists and will be hybrid – where we will have both in-person and on-line participation available. If you are local please come and meet us at Brampton Museum, we are hoping to have some engaging conversations and most importantly we have refreshments!
