Creative Youth Voices – Future Hopes
Back in November 2020, Stoke CEP were honoured to have the ‘Creative Youth Voices Cultural Explorers’ take over, and conclude, our annual conference. Through a host of activities, questions, and videos, developed and led by these young people, the POWER OF YOUTH VOICE was definitely heard that day!
Today we are delighted to finally share with you the hard hitting topical video ‘CREATIVE YOUTH VOICES FUTURE HOPES,’ aired during our 2020 conference.
Watch as 5 young people go through a journey, with Kreative Foundations and the New Vic Theatre Education Team, to explore their future hopes for the arts and cultural sector, initially sharing that the experience was unusual because:
“No one’s previously really cared about what we had to say, so it’s weird to have a platform.”
Creative Youth Voices – Future Hopes – Participant
However, when given this platform these young people really did have a lot to say. As you’ll get to see their voices are POWERFUL, THOUGHT PROVOKING & A REAL DRIVE FOR CHANGE in regards to the need and recognition of the industry’s value in education and society.

Finally, a huge thank you to all the young people who took part in the development and delivery of the conference take over and video. Your hard work, commitment and creativity is truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to work with you further to make your opinions and ideas become reality!
